Training and Other Information:
If you are unemployed, over 18 and wish to return to the workforce, then you should consider this new training initiative which is being jointly developed by Foras Aiseanna Saothair (FAS) and the Development for Employment and Learning (DEL).
The programme will be 14wks in duration and will consist of soft skills training, individual skills audit and specific skills training.
The specific skills training will compromise Information Technology: Caring: Retail: Logistics: Leisure/Tourism, Catering and all will follow an accredited qualification.
Participants from the Republic of Ireland will receive a training allowance and those from Northern Ireland will retain their Social Security Benefits. In addition, allowances for childcare and travel may be payable.
Training programme will commence on 20/27 November 2006 in Derry and Donegal.
