Jobs 1st

Jobs 1st aims to give those currently not in work who are seeking employment the best possible chance to compete for jobs.

The Services

• A weekly update of local job vacancies
• Help with application forms and interviews
• Advice about benefits for those who find work(Tax Credits, Housing benefit etc.)
• Advice about courses and training programmes
• High quality CVs
• Help with the cost of training in certain circumstances.

Who Do We Help

• Anyone who lives in the Strabane District Council area and is not already working
• Anyone claiming benefits (except Jobseekers Allowance Claimants)
• Anyone who does not claim benefits and does not work

Services are available across the Strabane District Council area so look for the Jobs 1st sign on a community building in your area our to call to our offices at Upper Main St, Strabane
