Work Preparation Programme
The Work Preparation Programme is one element of Pathways to Work operated by DEL. We work in partnership with Network Personnel in Magherafelt to cover the following geographical areas:
- Strabane
- Omagh
- Fermanagh
- Foyle & Lisnagelvin Jobs & Benefits Office areas
Work Preparation Programme is a 12 week work placement designed to assist individuals to return to work either full time or part time. Hours of work are flexible and individuals get their existing benefits plus expenses payments.
Individuals also receive either one to one or group training in health and safety, job search skills and personal development.
Individuals can leave the programme at anytime and there is no effect on their benefits.
Individuals who leave the programme or complete the programme are given advice and guidance about what they can do now and what additional help is available.
